The New Way

runner girlSo as you know I’ve been blogging about my sub 9 pace that just showed up unexpectedly.   Today was the last “test” run I wanted to do to see if i could keep it up over 5 miles.  That I did and that included hills.  So a goal down and now let’s see if it becomes my standard.  I won’t be writing much about it unless I fall off the proverbial wagon.  I’ve officially given it what I think is a good test run to comfortably say that I’d like to make my new pace a standard.  Now I realize a week and a half isn’t a long time by any stretch and probably not the entire test period but for now I know  I can do it and will strive distances based on that.  Nine is still good so those runs won’t be classified as failures.  Here’s to some new milestones!
